As a company Director, Marc has led high-stakes operations teams at Fortune 50 companies, managing multi-billion-dollar contracts, developing compliance frameworks, and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions. His expertise in financial accountability, process optimization, and compliance is now the foundation of Liyara.

A Personal Mission

But Liyara wasn't born in a boardroom—it was born out of a deeply personal experience.

On Christmas Eve, Marc's aunt, Grace, fell and broke her pelvis. At 89 years old, she suddenly went from independent to relying on family for care. As her health declined in the months that followed, so did her ability to manage her finances.

Then came the bills—a literal bag full of receipts, statements, letters, overdue notices, and disconnected records. Sorting through them was like trying to piece together a puzzle without knowing what the final picture looked like. Grace couldn't remember due dates or account details. The family struggled to track medical expenses, insurance policies, and utility payments while also making critical care decisions. It was overwhelming.

In that moment, Marc realized: this wasn't just his family's problem.

There are 53 million unpaid caregivers in the U.S., many drowning under the same burden—trying to manage a loved one's finances with no tools, no centralization, and no clear path forward.

From Problem to Solution

Marc took his expertise in process automation, financial oversight, and compliance and channeled it into solving this problem at scale. Liyara was born.
